The project “Diversity or Convergence?” explores how the institutional set-up of national political economies influences defense-industrial policies across time and space. It investigates arms procurement, export regulation, and ownership strategies, each of which may combine state with market action in multiple ways. The focus of the empirical analysis is on France, Germany, India and the United Kingdom.
